Around the Sanctuary

MLTNS consists of a nature center and Nature Sanctuary with hiking trails. The Sanctuary aims to provide quality environmental, wildlife, and science programming and events while responsibly conserving and managing natural resources.

We are living in an unprecedented time as Covid-19 affects us at the city, state, country, and global level. It is no different at MLTNS. Presently the Wildlife Sanctuary is open for hiking and the Nature Center (the building and restrooms) is closed to follow the Clay County Health Advisory. As people are confined to their homes they are rediscovering the value of nature and places that families can go to safely be outdoors. MLTNS is a great place for you and your family to visit with our miles of hiking trails and wide open spaces.
